Housing for university researchers in moncloa, madrid
The project is placed in Moncloa, Madrid. A natural space used for educational practices in collaboration with Polytechnic and Complutense University. The program consists of 15 temporary housing for campus researchers, agronomists and veterinary medicine. The implantation site is an embankment with a steep slope; the site has a wide variety of plant species. The project respects topography and vegetation. One of the most interesting aspects of researching is the exchange and cooperation. Is for this reason that share houses are designed . This houses have common spaces indoor and outdoor. There are houses for one person, for two or for three persons. Prototypes housing are adapted to the needs of the different age groups that may inhabit, with the possibility to adaptation for young people, even adults with families. The access to the houses, starts from the top of the embankment by the public part of these and, on the lower floors, they are the rooms with more independence. All volumes are concrete and inserted into the side opening to the nature and the west views of Madrid and Real Pardo, site one of the landscapes more imposing of the city.
